SAN Management Workstation
Does Not Have
a Fibre Channel Connection

Situation:

The SAN management workstation does not have a physical Fibre Channel connection into the SAN because the other management tools are all out-of-band. Can HBAnyware be run on this SAN management workstation?

Resolution:

From the SAN management workstation, run a terminal emulation session into one of the servers that has HBAnyware loaded on it. For Windows servers, use the operating system's terminal services option. On Solaris or Linux servers, open an X-Windows session to run the server's HBAnyware GUI remotely.
